1. Rental Agreement

By completing a booking with Vomad Rentals, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. This agreement is between the customer (renter) and Vomad Rentals, operating in British Columbia, Canada.

2. Equipment & Condition

All equipment is provided in good working condition, fully tested prior to pickup. The renter is responsible for inspecting equipment at pickup and reporting any pre-existing damage before leaving.

3. Rental Period & Pickup

Minimum rental period is 3 days. Equipment pickup and return is at our designated location in British Columbia. Pickup window is 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM on the first day of the rental period.

On long weekends (BC statutory holidays), a 4-day minimum rental may apply.

4. Payment & Deposit

Full rental payment is processed at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit is held separately and released upon return of equipment in undamaged condition:

Deposits are released same day upon check-in of returned equipment. Deposits are processed and held via Stripe.

5. Damage & Loss

The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the rental period. If equipment is returned damaged, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit. If costs exceed the deposit amount, the renter is liable for the balance.

Normal wear and tear is expected and will not be charged. The renter must not attempt to modify, disassemble, or repair any equipment.

6. Late Returns

Equipment must be returned by 9:00 PM on the agreed return date. Late returns are charged at $45 per day, beginning after 1 day late. Late fees will be charged to the payment method on file or deducted from the deposit where applicable.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start are non-refundable. No-shows forfeit the full rental amount.

9. Limitation of Liability

Vomad Rentals is not responsible for any loss of connectivity, data loss, or consequential damages arising from equipment malfunction or failure. Equipment is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Vomad Rentals is not liable for any injury, accident, or property damage caused by the use or misuse of rental equipment.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected at booking (name, email, phone) is used solely for rental administration and communication purposes. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Payment information is handled securely by Stripe and is never stored on our systems.
